Itinerary Management

CruiseAppy provides robust tools for managing cruise itineraries, ensuring accurate scheduling, seamless integration with booking and search features, and flexible update options. The itinerary management module supports both admin and agent workflows.

Key Features

  • Creation & Editing: Admins and agents can create new itineraries, edit existing ones, and assign them to cruises.
  • Port Management: Add, remove, or reorder port stops, including arrival and departure times and port details.
  • Activity Scheduling: Schedule onboard activities, excursions, and special events for each day of the cruise.
  • Integration: Itineraries are linked to cruise and booking data, ensuring consistency across the platform.
  • Reload Itinerary: Users can manually reload itineraries to fetch the latest updates or changes.

Workflow

  1. Create or Select Cruise: Create a new cruise or select an existing one.
  2. Add/Edit Itinerary: Define the itinerary by specifying ports, dates, and activities.
  3. Assign to Cruise: Link the itinerary to the relevant cruise(s).
  4. Publish & Sync: Save and publish the itinerary; updates are synced with external APIs if configured.

User Experience

  • Customers can view detailed itineraries during search, booking, and in their dashboard after booking.
  • Agents can manage itineraries for group or custom cruises.
  • Admins have full control over all itineraries and can override or update them as needed.

Additional Notes

  • All changes are logged for auditing and compliance.
  • The system supports extensible fields for custom ports, activities, or notes.
